🌀 glow 🌀 was contributed to the Petalcoin project ($petal) by Colfax (clfx.eth). The artwork was available to mint by burning 2,222 $higher; each participant received 100k $petal as a reward. A total of 12 editions were minted, collectively burning 26,664 $higher.
As I stated previously, $petal "Season 0" was a free-wheeling discovery process. Season 1 will be more focused and refined. Colfax's piece was the opening salvo.
Both aesthetically and economically, Petalcoin creations will be elevated by thoughtful consideration. Achieving that requires stretching my own capacities.
I am not a visual person, and I also tend to post... everything. I throw it all at the wall to see what sticks. While there is always an element of that approach in a new project — because you don't know what will stick until you try — I suspect that each work of art will have more impact with some space to breathe.
Collectors and other $petal participants need that space to breathe, in fact.
